Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP)
This film, know as 10K OTR film, is designed to allow oxygen to pass through in order to prevent the growth of anaerobic bacteria, a type of harmful bacteria that survives when oxygen is no longer present. MAP is the highest standard for fresh seafood packaging to ensure food safety, longer shelf life and ultimate product freshness.
