Bagels & Trout Lox

Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 4oz cold-smoked trout lox
  • Preferred bagels
  • Cream cheese, preferably whipped 
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 handful of chives
  • Capers
  • Olive oil 
  • Salt & pepper

Cold Smoked Trout
Preparation: 

  • Remove cold-smoked pack from the fridge and let sit for 15 minutes
  • Toast bagels until golden
  • Slice red onion into thin rings
  • Smear cream cheese on top of bagel and add slices of cold-smoked
  • Top with onion slices, chives and capers
  • Drizzle olive oil and season with salt & pepper to taste
  • Enjoy!
