Storing & Serving
- Smoked trout must be kept at 38 degrees F or below. Good in the fridge for up to 5 days upon delivery or in the freezer for up to 6 months.
- Crackers have a 3 months shelf life.
- Pickled onions have a 12 month shelf life. Refrigerate after oepning.
Create delicious bites by placing your choice of smoked trout on top of the rye & sea salt crackers, adding cream cheese or creme fraiche, and topping with pickled onions. Lightly drizzle with some olive oil and finish with cracked pepper. A quick and easy way to impress guests with delicious bites!
We also like to use all of these items in salads. Toss your go-to salad ingredients in a bowl, mix in some cold or hot-smoked (or both!) and top with a tablespoon of pickled onions. Serve with a side of crackers and enjoy!
